James Cade, DDS

Dr. James Cade received his DDS, in 1979 from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry. He earned a Certificate in Oral Pathology from Emory University in 1982. From 1982-2006 Dr. Cade was a professor at the LSU School of Dentistry. He moved to Tennessee and was in private practice for 10 years in Manchester, TN. He joined the faculty of the Meharry School of Dentistry in January 2016 and currently serves as an Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Oral Diagnostic Sciences. Dr. Cade is a colonel in the Army National Guard with two tours in Iraq and Hurricane Katrina Relief duty and has 35 years of military service. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology and a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Medicine. Dr. Cade is married 43 years with four children and ten grandchildren.
